A beautiful specimen tree for smaller gardens and courtyards or for use as a deciduous hedge. Quite tolerant of dryness once established. Remove suckers if they develop. Can be pruned after flowering.

Growth Rate: Slow to moderate

Foliage: Dark green and glossy with deep lobes.

Flower: Prolific double red-pink flowers produced in tight clusters.

Bark: Greyish-brown

Tolerances: Adaptable to a variety of conditions including coastal conditions, alkaline soil and air pollution.
