Ugni molinae “Chilean Guava” 

$14.99 – $29.99

A small, evergreen shrub with small, leathery leaves native to Chile. Small, red fruit has a sweet/tart flavour that is a combination of pineapple, strawberry and apple. Self fertile. Flowering occurs in spring, followed by fruit.

Excellent eaten fresh, or made into jam or a sauce.

Grows up to 2m and tolerates a range of soil conditions. Excellent as a low hedge. Once established, the plant can tolerate dry conditions, but water when young. Full sun to part shade. Prune after fruiting to maintain shape.
