Salvia hybrid – ‘So Cool Violet’

$14.99

A lovely salvia growing to 70cm tall and spreading up to 1m wide. It has rounded, green foliage which has a sage like scent when brushed against and produces tall spikes of violet flowers in spring and autumn.

It is perfect for waterwise and cottage gardens or for planting near productive gardens to attract beneficial insects like bees and hoverflies.

It should be grown in a full sun to part shade position in well draining soils. For best flowering it should be fertilised with a slow release fertiliser in spring. It should be pruned after the main flowering flush to encourage further flowering and a compact habit.
