Red-Eyed Wattle (Acacia cyclops) – Bush Tucker
A hardy, dieback-resistant species of Acacia, native to Western Australia. Red stalked seeds are edible, and traditionally ground into flour. This wattleseed has a nutty flavour and is also used to enhance sweet and savoury dishes, and as a coffee substitute.
Grows to 3x3m, and is suitable for a full sun position.
