Unusual flowering cherry with  distinct twisted and bending zig-zag branches. Not recommended for Perth’s swan coastal plain due to too low a chill for good flowering, suited to Perth hills and south of Perth. May burn in hot exposed positions.

Growth Rate: Slow to moderate

Foliage: Mid-green leaves with serrate margin. May produce autumn tones of yellow,orange and red.

Flower: Pendulous rosy-red buds open to white flowers with a hint of pink during spring.
