Unusual flowering cherry with distinct twisted and bending zig-zag branches. Not recommended for Perth’s swan coastal plain due to too low a chill for good flowering, suited to Perth hills and south of Perth. May burn in hot exposed positions.
Growth Rate: Slow to moderate
Foliage: Mid-green leaves with serrate margin. May produce autumn tones of yellow, orange and red.
Flower: Pendulous rosy-red buds open to white flowers with a hint of pink during spring.
