A Brassica native to Tasmania, Wintercress has a strong, peppery flavour and can be enjoyed fresh in salads, or cooked in stirfrys and other savoury dishes. All above ground parts of the plant are edible, including the flowers and seeds.
Grow in a sunny to partly shaded position in improved free-draining soil. Native Wintercress is an attractive addition to herb gardens and is a great potted plant for sills or balconies.
