Also known as cut-leaf mint, Native Mint is a highly aromatic shrub, rich in essential oils. Use in cooking and herbal teas. Native Thyme has a more complex flavour than Mentha mints, with hints of pepper and earthy tones. A flavoursome herb for chicken, fish, emu, roo and lamb dishes. Both the leaves and flowers have minty qualities, and may be steeped in hot water to make a herbal tea.
Grows to 1.5×1.5 m. Full sun to part shade. Plant in well draining soil, and keep watered through summer.
