A medium sized deciduous tree, similar to the Canadian Maple. It is extremely popular for its brilliant Autumn colour and shape. The foliage turns from shiny dark green to a gorgeous shade of bright Orange Red in Autumn. Its grey bark is smooth and darkens with age. Makes for a stunning feature tree or a spectacular avenue tree when planted in a row. Best in a sheltered position.
