Magnesium is an essential element for photosynthesis. Deficiency causes yellowing between leaf veins, mainly in the older leaves. Chlorosis may start at the leaf tips and margins then progress inward until the whole leaf is yellow. This may be followed by the curling of the leaf margins and leaf drop.
Ideal for acid loving plants such as gardenias and azaleas.
Manganese deficiencies are most common in alkaline soil, so it is recommended you test the soil pH and apply correcting agents if needed.
