Fragrant white flowers are produced in summer followed by smooth skinned, greenish-purple berry sized fruit in mid autumn. The fruit tastes very similar to Kiwifruit but is even sweeter.
This self pollinating vine will usually bear fruit in its second year. Needs a frame to climb on in full sun or part shade, water moderately well, prefers slightly acidic moist soil with good drainage. Dig in compost before planting and mulch well.
