Kalanchoe blossfeldiana – ‘Grandiva Foster’

This gorgeous red flowered kalanchoe looks equally great potted indoors or planted en masse out in the garden. This plant needs well draining soils and a position in full sun or part shade in the garden or if grown indoors it needs a bright position next to a window to keep it blooming and to keep it from becoming pale and leggy. Make sure when growing indoors to only water when the soil is dry and never leave the plant sitting in water as this can cause root rot. In the garden it can reach 30cm tall and 30cm wide but it is unlikely to reach that size indoors.
