Black-red leaves of the Japanese Maple are deeply lobed and serrated, and will retain colour throughout summer, without fading. Brilliant autumn foliage of crimson. Needs a part shade position protected from hot winds. Suitable for large pots.

Height: 2m.

Width: 2m.

Growth Rate: Moderate.

Foliage: Dark purple finely divided leaves. Keeps colour throughout summer. Crimson autumn colour.

Flower: Insignificant.

Bark: Young branches dark burgundy red becoming more grey with age.
