Attractive Japanese Maple grown for its striking coral pink stems. A partial sun, sheltered position is best. As with all Japanese Maples it should not be planted in exposed areas where hot summer winds may stress the tree.
Growth Rate: Slow to moderate
Foliage: Light green lobed, serrated ‘maple’ leaves turning brilliant yellow with an orange tinge during the autumn.
Bark: Young stems are a bright coral pink to red which intensifies over the winter months. Older bark ages to brown.
