Hibiscus – Southern Belle
Hibiscus moscheutos – “Southern Belle”
A spectacular woody perennial with enormous blooms up to 25cm across throughout the warmer months. Flowers in shades of pink, rose, or white.
Prefers moist, well-drained fertile soil in a warm, sunny or partly shaded site. In areas with cold winters, ‘Southern Belle’ will die back to ground level over winter and re-emerge in spring.
Trim back after flowering and fertilise in spring.
Grows to 1.5m high
