Elm – Murray’s Form
Ulmus parvifolia “Murray’s Form”
A large stately tree, upright structure, semi-deciduous. Suitable for most soil types in full sun.
Growth Rate: Moderate
Foliage: Dark glossy green leaves are larger than other elm varieties. Colour changes to yellow in autumn and hold on tree for an extended period.
Bark: Ornamental, greyish-brown peeling to brownish-red giving a mottled effect on older trees.
Tolerances: Hardy, will tolerate wetness for short periods. Will sucker if roots are damaged. Good for coastal positions.
