Compact growing Dogwood. Prefers an acid soil rich in organic matter, that is well drained and evenly moist. Mulch well and plant in a part-shade and sheltered position. Can be tricky to grow in some areas of Perth.

Foliage: Deep green turning reddish-purple in autumn
Flower: Large bracts of reddish-magenta colour during spring. Can produce glossy red fruits after flowering.
Bark: Light grey ageing to dark grey.
