Basil Pesto, originally from India, is best known as a culinary herb used in Italian cuisine. It also features in Northeast Asian cuicine. It is generally added to dishes at the last minute as cooking quickly destroys the flavour. 

Grows in a part to full sun position as an annual. Grows to 90cm high x 60cm wide. If harvested often and kept warm, leaves can be harvested for 10 months.
